Last night at work I received a text from my husband asking me where the water pitcher was at, specifically he wanted to know where I put it. I texted him back asking him if he checked the bathroom, because that was where I left it after I poured water from it into the dogs water bowl. My husband texted me back and said he had already checked there and did not find the pitcher. So, since I was busy at work, I texted back and said I would find it when I got home from work.

I got home at 8:30 pm, earlier than usual and began looking all over the house for the pitcher and could not find it anywhere. I couldn't find the darn thing so I gave up and said that I was going to bed. I figured it would turn up eventually.

The next morning I went to take a shower, pulled the shower curtain back and THERE it was! Sitting right where I had left it on the night that I filled the dogs water bowl, on the side of the bathtub.

Coming home from work in the evenings to look for things is becoming a normal occurrence because of my husband's Alzheimers disease. But, I'm not sure the missing pitcher was due to his Alzheimers. I think it has more to do with me being lazy and leaving something where my husband could not find it. So, lesson learned, next time I use something I need to make sure he knows where I put it or I need to put it back where I got it from.

Well, hey at least I found it!

So aside from getting my finger smashed by a mouse trap today. I've got some exciting news to share. I've moved to a new and more professional website. What does this mean for you? I will still be blogging but, hopefully with this new website up and running, I will be able to sell my services as a baker of all things sweet and as a photographer who loves taking pictures of all things sweet, from animals and children to couples in love and baked desserts.

I'm up late tonight working on my new site and guess what?! I'm baking again!!!! I finally got my kitchen back.

I'm baking cupcakes right now for a Spring Craft Bazaar at the Fairfax County Government Center. I'll be there bright and early on Friday.

Since this is the first time I have baked in at least 6 months, I'm going to keep it simple and just bake Vanilla Cupcakes with Buttercream icing and my Blue Ribbon Chocolate Chip Cookies.

I sure hope I can stay awake long enough to finish baking these cupcakes!
